Experience

Seth Allen is a career Army officer with more than 22 years of leadership experience, leading teams in complex and rapidly changing environments where trust, discipline, and clarity were essential. Before leaving active service, he served as the Professor of Military Science at the University of Connecticut Army ROTC, leading the university’s Army ROTC program and mentoring future Army officers. In this role, he worked closely with university and state stakeholders to support student development and professional growth opportunities. His military experience shaped a leadership philosophy centered on mentorship, education, and culture building. Seth believes organizations thrive when leaders intentionally create environments where people can grow, collaborate, and succeed.

Seth works with leaders who want to lead with empathy, strengthen their sense of self through intentional action, and build high-performing teams with confidence. Leveraging more than two decades of leadership experience, he helps organizations develop cultural processes that improve communication, decision-making, and team collaboration. His approach is intentional and focused on turning leadership principles into consistent daily habits. As an Educational Doctoral Student focused on leadership and mentorship programs in professional settings, Seth is passionate about helping leaders create healthy cultures where individuals and teams can grow and succeed.

Outside of work and graduate school, Seth is passionate about spending time with his son, whose curiosity and energy inspire them to explore new experiences throughout New England together. He is also a novice woodworker who enjoys building simple, durable furniture that reflects creativity, patience, and craftsmanship. In addition, Seth remains deeply connected to his community through veteran advocacy, volunteering at his son’s school, and supporting those who serve others, including members of law enforcement, fire services, and the National Guard.
